Matilda Bay returns for a fourth year with Plateful Perth, this time taking diners on a journey to France. Executive Chef Troy Melia has curated an indulgent four-course menu centred on the classics.
Start with a delicate beef tartare with caper, chive and beetroot crisp, move into a bouillabaisse with prawn, mussel, clam, tomato and orange. For mains, a confit Wagin duck cassoulet with Toulouse sausage, white bean and smoked bacon and finish with a Valrhona chocolate mousse, Cognac caramel and poached pear. Optional wine pairings can be added to enhance the dining experience.
